The Quantum Structures Physics SL3.2 team conducts research in the following areas:

colloidal quantum dots: I-III-VI compounds, quaternary alloyed materials
mechanism of light emission by colloidal quantum dots
applications of colloidal quantum dots in intracellular temperature sensing
optical and transport properties of II-VI and IV-VI quantum structures for applications in detection and emission of infrared light
first principles calculations of electronic structures of the studied materials
